We are in control of how we feel emotionally through the food choices we make every single day.
I feel that that statement that I wrote a few years ago has sort of become what I say now, which is you have the power at the end of your fork.
In This Is Your Brain on Food each chapter describes the condition but describes the foods to try to include and those to try to avoid if you have symptoms of that particular condition...
I hope people will check out my book which is called This Is Your Brain on Food.

We saw that ultimately didn't matter where you were everyone was struggling with the same sets of variables. How do I feel better?
What we've tried to do here though, because of course everybody knows you can go out and buy a thousand books on nutrition or exercise or nowadays even breathing in some of these other topics. But what we've tried to do is explain to the reader how all of these behaviors are interconnected and influence each other and aren't just things that sort of happen in their own silo, that all of these behaviors influence the other.
And the number one reason you might end up in a nursing home is your inability to get up and down off the ground independently.
It turns out that the things we recommend in this book for everyday people weekend warriors, people who just want to feel good in their bodies are actually the same things we recommend to people who are trying to win world championships and go to the Olympics and compete at the highest level.

By the way one huge regret I have Dan in the book is that there aren't more Easter eggs in it and if there was a way I could have had John Cox those tosen somehow referenced in the book. That would have been that would have been so valuable to at least people like you and I.
The book I've been checking out lately is called devil makes three it's by Ben fountain it's extraordinarily well written and it takes you into Haiti in the 1990s and obviously the narrative has a lot of extra punch right now given what's happening on the ground in Haiti as we speak highly recommend this book
Yeah the new book is called Outlive the Science and Art of Longevity. irony not lost on me.
