Think Like a Monk has been a bestseller.

For me it's the difference though, monk see as the monk mind and the monkey mind. So the monkey mind is considered to the part of our minds that is like jumping from branch to branch and just being distracted by different fruits on every tree. Whereas the monk mind is focused intentional and aware at all times.

I'm not expecting anyone to read the book and then give up all their possessions and live with nothing but I'm actually saying that this mindset has actually allowed me to be more grateful for what I do have. It's allowed me to be a better user of what I do have. Sure. And and a better advocate for it.

"

He has a book Make Your Bed the little things that can change your life and maybe even the world which is comes out of that talk he did.

One of the things I just love about his books is their short, their simple and their earnest right?

It's all these kind of slogans from the seals, from people performance. Just kind of classic hard one wisdom that when you hear the idea that no easy day is yesterday those who dare win you know fortune favors the pulled when you hear these expressions you think yeah yeah yeah but somebody some body generations of people proved that idea they proved it on the battlefield they proved it in the classroom they proved it in their personal life they proved it suffering and he really explores what those things mean but in a really memorable way that I think sticks with you.

I really do love these books I recommend them all the time they are absolutely awesome

It's a it's a little thing and it gets you started to go I can do this I'm or you identify as someone who reads right like the amount of people I meet who are like I hadn't read a book since high school And then they read a book like this or one of my books and they're like oh I thought I hated books. I really just hated the books. I was assigned in school And then they then you can you can change your identity to be someone who reads

I was reading this book 'Hunt, Gather, Parent,' which I loved about...instead of, you know, 'um, telling your kid do this and do this and you need to clean your room,' instead of 'you need to clean your room,' it's 'let's see how many toys we can get in the hamper in 30 seconds,' like how many things can you turn into a game...

I see them with their kids, playground was don't turn; I make sure and you're gonna be careful, you're gonna hurt yourself on that, and I see the kid look at them like well why are we here if it's so dangerous.
