They lobbied the CDC to close the schools. They held children's education hostage. They got $190 billion in extortion payments and ransom payments from the taxpayer. And they were fear mongering every step of the way.

There you go. That's one of the best books you could ever read.

If there are citations in a book, but it is it is an important book.

It actually is really every single one. And then go and look and see what pamphlet he's talking about.

But D-Day, June 6, 1944, which I believe came out on the 50th anniversary basically of D-Day, also by Stephen Ambrose, is a pretty incredible read as well.

And most ages, I think, could read them.

I'm well versed in Civil War. I read both of those, really enjoyed them. They were not complicated. They were not overwhelming. And most ages, I think, could read them.

An author, and I'm not kidding, the title of the book is What is Wrong with Capitalism?

It's a story of the it's an oral history. I'm not even sure who wrote it of all of the people from a variety of different perspectives involved in 9-11 and it's a riveting now.

It's a really good book.

The Only Plane in the Sky is the book I'm reading about nine 11 right now. It's fabulous. Um, really well done. If you have forgotten that era, it's pretty staggering to go back and read it.

It's a political military thriller. It's like this book series, the way I intended it was like 24. The series 24 meets Mission Impossible.

And I wrote the lion's share of this book back in 2016. And my goal all along, much like my goal here for this show is to keep you ahead of the curve of the radical Democrats, try to give you a sense of where they're going to be five, 10 years from now.

I think Dory in the live chat has and I think other people have as well. A couple other people was have read the book as well. It's crazy to me how it just doesn't seem that fantastical anymore.

Amber Smith, Buck, she's got a good book that is out right to break down on Wokeness. Amber's an old friend. She was a Kiowa combat pilot in Afghanistan worked under the Trump Department of Defense as an official and wrote a book called Danger Close. Now she's got a new book out about Wokeness in the military. She's a badass lady.

I worked on the book "The Missing Peace" which you can, it's boring, don't buy it but I worked on that book as a fact checker for a summer and so I started out on this issue and so I have some institutional memory of it or just some understanding of the history

I began with the premise that Donald Trump is a very strange figure because he is so intensely loved and so intensely hated.

He has a kind of a manly aversion to showing you his feelings, his vulnerability, even the way that his inner mind works.

In private, he's self-deprecating. He pays attention to you even though he seems in some senses in public to be a kind of a bully.

He never bullies people who are beneath him. You'll never see him bully a waiter or bully a doorman in one of his hotels. He only bullies other 800-pound gorillas and usually ones that are trying to get him.

And then the other thing is that Trump has the supreme virtue of courage.

I think that of the Clancy film canon, I think that The Hunt for Red October is the best. I still think.

It's a great book. It's one that, Tom Clancy, you know, huge hit out of nowhere with that one.

And his research skills were so good that they were, the Pentagon ended up sitting down with him and saying, hey, where are you getting all this classified stuff?

And there's been many social studies, including the book Bowling Alone, that found that when demographic changes are so strong and so swift, it causes a depletion in trust in both institutions and trust among individual people, not just among people who look differently than you, but people who look the same than you.

I'm a history nerd I've been reading all about the start of the American Civil War, an interesting book that's out about Fort Sumter from the guy who wrote about in the Garden of the Beast.

Eric Larson has got a book out about Fort Sumter and the start of the American Civil War. I'm about 350 pages or so into it and I'm not endorsing that 100%.

Did you ever see the Book of Mormon?

I liked... I thought the Book of Mormon was funny.

I found it, you know, I thought it would... I thought it crossed the line. And I'm not a Mormon, but I thought it crossed the line a little bit.

Too much cursing for me, to be honest with you.

But there were funny moments, to be sure. And it was trying to be funny and I did laugh at parts.
