No, this isn't some movie version of George Orwell's 1984.

He's written a book. And I think it's like the book is telling one side of his life. Like, I lived with this mom who didn't have a lot of money. Don't mention that his dad was super rich and gave him all kinds of safaris to Africa and money to start a business.

I'm reading because we've been doing a lot of work with the tunnel the towers guys. And one of my buddies who you've met has been involved in some of the prosecution. He suggested that I read the oral history of 9-11, which is it's been out a long time, but it's been, you know, 23 years since 9-11. And I'm reading all of these.

I finished this the book about the start of the Civil War, which was good. The Eric Larson book and now you know what?

I also like the Eric Larson book on Fort Sumner, but I'm a Civil War history buff. So I knew a lot of those details but it was still well done.

I'm actually watching the John Adams show with Carrie, the HBO. It's good. It's well done. I mean, that's your body. Jamadi pays, plays Adams. Right. He's a good actor. I wouldn't have gone with him to play John Adams personally. I know it's a little off for me, but it's a well done. It's a well done series on the David McCullough books. Yeah, that, and there's evidently, um, Michael Douglas is playing Benjamin Franklin. Have you heard about this show? And supposedly it's pretty good. I haven't seen it. I am, I am during the summer trying to read more. So I finished this, uh, the book about the start of the civil war, which was good. The Eric Larson book.

And now you know what I'm reading? Cause we've been doing a lot of work with the tunnel, the towers guys. And one of my buddies who you've met, uh, has been involved in some of the prosecution. He suggested that I read the oral history of nine 11, uh, which is, it's been out a long time, but it's been, you know, 23 years since nine 11. And I'm reading all of these, uh, it's, it's fabulous book, um, that has, it's just a coalition, just a nine 11 report. The overview of the comp like not, not the nine 11 report. It's a story. Um, of the, it's an oral history. I'm not even sure who wrote it of all of the people from a variety of different perspectives involved in nine 11. And it's a riveting. Now I read the book back in the day, the tower, the looming tower or whatever, which was very well done. This book is just inside.

A River Runs Through It that it was based on also incredibly well done.

He's not the star like this was before he was a superstar.

I think he's the he's the supporting. He's the brother the other brother.

Yes, my dad loves fly fishing so I had to sit through that movie.

There's a lot of I actually think that's a really good movie Norman McLean novel a river runs through it that it was based on also incredibly well done.

The book could be thousands of pages long, but it is normal reading length for all of you out there. So don't worry.

There's a famous book called Lies My Teacher Told Me.

There's another famous book called 1619, you know, a black history of America and the sort of implied subtitle is and the lies they're telling you.

There's another book called Bury My Heart and Wounded Knee, a native history of the United States.

I might be off by a word or two on some of these titles.

Troy Olson. He's from Minnesota. Gavin wax. He's from New York. They wrote The Emerging Populist Majority.

It starts off with the Russian monarch, Peter, the great as a young boy.

And there's a very horrific palace coup that he observes as a and it's, you know, the mob and some of the soldiers like running and doing all this stuff. It's very Game of Thrones.

And he actually survives this, obviously goes on to become a transformational figure in Russian history.

It's really good. No, good.

It's the last name's definitely Massey.

But it's the Peter, the great biography.

It's very Game of Thrones.

I just came up when I was reading my Ferenbach book on the Indian Wars. The mountain howitzer was a very powerful weapon used in the mid 19th century against the tribes. And I was like, howitzer must be named for somebody.

I've also got Lone Star which is the history of Texas you can find them but they're there. You're there hard to find they run out of there. They're kind of out of print these days.

It was twofold when Shannon was killed, our sons were one and three, so they were really young. They never got a chance to really know their mother, so I wanted them to have something that when they got old enough, they could kind of take in on their own.
