You're writing a book that you're not allowed to write. How is that going?

I didn't originally even try to shop this to any of the big non-conservative publishers. I went straight to Regnery because with a topic like this, it just, I wasn't going to get in a war with what I was allowed to write or what I wasn't.

My goodness, her tiny book filled with debauchery and curse words was launching the very next day and she wanted to keep the focus on her.

Was she hiding from the shooting for fear that would mess up her book sales? Maybe it would make her look bad.

She's very hip and cool, but she's not concerned with the safety of the people in Detroit, which probably should be where her mind is.

And it's just, you know, recipes and silly Layliff. Yes. Silly kind of stuff.

Norman McLean novel, A River Runs Through It, that it was based on also incredibly well done.

I was going to go number two on that one. But that's fair. She's wrong. I mean, it's seven. But but I wanted to make sure that is that is that leak. It's a very dark movie.

Yeah, that's if you just want to start at where basically the entirety of the pioneer frontier views natives as untrustworthy murderers, rapists and liars who now it was that fair and all. Of course not.

Very my heart of wounded knee is like these like really nice native tribes were just hanging out and we kept making treaties and stealing their land.

And there was yeah, well, I mean, the Comanche, as soon as they got weapons from the French traders, you know, guns and metal weapons, they tried to kill as many of their competitor tribes as they could as fast as they couldn't take their land.

Like one of my critiques of Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee is that it's just it's a recitation of 400 years of native military defeats.
