When I read Slash's autobiography you know there's a few books that I read if you ever saw like a list of the books that I read it'd be fucking hilarious. There's like a couple of classics kind of Monte Cristo right, Prince and the Pauper or some shit and then the rest is just all...

I remember reading the Slash one just going like why are they there's a point in the book where Matt Sorum finally just goes down and knocks on his dressing room drawer or his uh trailer he's like get the fuck out here the fuck are we doing like it just seemed like everyone was just sort of appeasing every demand that he had I don't know if because they were doing drugs and stuff and like as long as I got my little fucking pile of heroin over here yeah take take control the name of the band I don't give a fuck like all that crazy shit that he did.

Keith Richards waited until he was well into his fucking 60s, until he was well into his fucking 70s and just wrote a book called Life.

And it was like 600 fucking pages and the one story that I remember the most was that they in like the mid 60s, they went out and they bought a Chevy Impala, which is one of the best-looking cars of all time.

And they took off like the door panel and they hid their drugs behind it because what cop would ever look there right?

They drove this thing all around they got all high and all fucked up or whatever and somehow they lost the car or they turned it in or they sold it.

He goes somewhere out there for cars still exists is this 65 or 66 Chevy Impala with my drugs behind the fucking the door panel, so that was just one of his fucking stories, you know.

I read this whole book on Bob Cousy and and Bill Russell and how, you know, they go down the south and like Bob Cousy could walk in the front door and Bill Russell couldn't it was fucking nuts

Cannot recommend that book enough.

The only thing that sucks is Bill Russell is not in the book with any sort of a quote.

But Bob Cousy's all over the book. It would have been great to hear Bill Russell's, uh, perspective on a lot of that stuff.
