That's what they just did to Joe Biden. They had Joe Biden's library. That was the uncle. The library gets it. You leave, the library gets it, your legacy gets it.

And so he did what Frank Pentangeli did. He said, all right, fine, I'll do it. And he's out.

He played the young Vito Corleone. So he's a great. Michael Corleone.

You shouldn't watch that. I think The Godfather, yeah, there's violence in that movie, there's evil, a lot of bad stuff. It's not for kids, okay? It's definitely for adults. But it's kind of a Shakespearean tragedy. It shows a virtuous man, Michael Corleone, a war hero, being dragged down into evil, losing everything that's important, and culminating in a powerful final scene in Godfather II.

If they remade The Godfather as a slapstick children's movie, they'd be like what they did with Animal Farm - turning a classic into something completely ridiculous.

I think this is the best thing I've read since The Godfather.

Why is this the Irish Godfather? Well, it's by default, really. It's not as good as The Godfather.

Plus this was a monster book. Yeah. So this book came out in 1969. It's been 67 weeks on the New York Times bestseller list. Usually when you make the movie based on the book, people just read the book. It's hard to surprise people.

Coppola clearly, when he read the book and thought about the idea and took a lot out of the book and decided that he wanted to make something that really aspired to serious commentary using old fashioned ideas about story structure and characters.

And also the book was- There's a whole backstory with Puzo, sold the rights. He developed it with Evans.

Kind of like a concierge, kind of like Tom Hagen, the lawyer on The Godfather.
