In hindsight, he really did focus a bit too much on the negative, didn't he?

I mean, yeah, dystopian future and all, but have you ever thought about the upside of an all-encompassing surveillance state?

Instead of the book being called 1984 Let's pretend this one's called 2024

George Orwell who wrote 1984 thought that in the future we just wouldn't be able to get any information and we wouldn't be able to get the truth and of course I think it was all this Huxley who turned out to be right who said he was actually afraid that information and truth would simply be drowned in a sea of irrelevance and that is exactly what happened.
