It was discussed as the 13th book in the 'Killing' series, focusing on the Salem witch trials and drawing parallels to modern 'cancel culture'. The book was said to be well-researched and included diary accounts and the true story behind 'The Exorcist'.
it's called cancel culture and you've been discussing that for years now
we have witch hunts today as you know
the far left is using it now to wipe out their enemies
it's really a harrowing story when you get through with this book and I'm not even going to mention we take you to the movie set of the exorcist
sold 90,000 copies in the first six days, excellent Halloween book you can give it to the urchins when they come for candy, candy will hurt them, the killing series will frighten the bejesus out of them
The title was repeatedly highlighted by Bill O'Reilly and several listeners as a compelling, best‑selling history that dramatized the Salem witch trials while linking them to modern cultural battles. O'Reilly promoted it as the first in his "Killing" series, noting its strong sales, engaging narrative, and usefulness for teaching American history and understanding current cancel‑culture debates. Listeners praised its readability, describing it as unputdownable and a great Halloween read, and it was frequently offered as a free or discounted gift for members.

It was strongly recommended to understand how the founding fathers felt about religion in the newly formed United States, and how it played a role in the Ten Commandments being the basis for some of our laws. The book explains the debate over whether the US should be defined as a Christian nation.
If you want to know how to win that argument, is to read Killing the Witches. I go through this brawl that the founding fathers had over whether the new United States should be defined as a Christian nation.

Episode: NO SPIN SPECIAL: Debunking Cassidy Hutchinson
Bill O'Reilly's book, 'Killing the Witches', was mentioned in comparison to Cassidy Hutchinson's book, as it was ranked second in sales while hers was number one.
She got hundreds of thousands of dollars to write a book and her book debuted at number one and my book, Killing the Witches, was number two. That's my beef against Cassidy Hutchinson, okay? That she was number one and I was number two and I'm usually number one.
Remember this woman Cassidy Hutchinson she had a book and it sold a lot of copies. I know that because killing the witches was up against her now witches ultimately sold a lot more copies than she did but out of the gate she said did very well because she accused Donald Trump of grabbing the wheel of the presidential limousine and fighting a Secret Service agent because Trump wanted to go to the Capitol and according to Hutchison he wanted to encourage this crazy thing that happened on January 6.

An excerpt from Chapter 5, "Fear descends," was read, detailing the social and environmental factors contributing to the Salem witch trials. The book described this period as the most brutal time in American history outside of war.
Fear descends. The Indians have again turned hostile. Reports that they are torturing Europeans are terrifying. Inside Salem, the Puritan village is being ripped apart by apprehensions, Indian attacks, starvation, winter cold. There is no central authority. There is no shortage. There is a shortage of almost everything because of poor harvest. Once friendly neighbors are fighting over property, it is a perfect cauldron for witches and warlocks.
Perhaps the most brutal time in American history. You know, outside of war. Salem witch trials began 332 years ago today.

The book explores the Salem witch trials, highlighting the frenzy, lack of due process, and underlying land grabs. It was discussed on the Fox News Channel show 'The Five' and is approaching 300,000 sales.
I was reading the O'Reilly book, Killing the Witches, which is amazing.
And you can kind of see how it all starts. It was this frenzy driven by young people. Young women were freaking out and going like this and labeling women. And then without any due process, the preacher or the sheriff would then hang them.
And if you said you weren't a witch, that meant you were. And then they'd kill you. And behind the scenes, a lot of it when they were fingering these women was because they wanted to steal their land.
Book's a phenomenon. And I'm very pleased.
We're approaching now 300,000 in sales. We might hit that by New Year's. Phenomenal in this day and age when a lot of people don't read anymore.

Just finished "Killing the Witches," can't stop thinking about it.
your thoughts on demonic possession and uh what you uncovered leads me to this question do you believe the loon shooting up schools and doing other terrible things are possessed
I do not the difference between evil, okay which has always been with us and I put it about 20 percent maybe that's a high number but from what I've seen in my life about 20 percent of human beings are evil okay about 20 percent maybe 25 are good I mean really good like my mother and then the rest are in between the possession stopped very very rare but you know you're re-killing the witches I'm telling you this case du Gard and I we got everything about it this case in Maryland a 13 year old boy Ronald Honkler it is astounding and it ties into the witches of Salem because if you're a witch you are in concert with the devil that was what a witch is
when I read "Killing the Witches" I couldn't believe it it's exactly exactly my thought

It tells the story of how witches got out of control and how a young boy in Boston, Benjamin Franklin, got involved in the witches' thing, visiting the top witch hunter, Cotton Mather. The book explores the brutality of what the clerics did in Salem and how it affected religious freedom in America.
So the story is beyond fascinating and real. And it led to the way we live today in America, as far as our religious freedom is concerned. And that's the center of the book.
The first part of the book is how they crossed. They got here and the witches went out of control. And then a young boy in Boston, Benjamin Franklin, gets on to this witches thing. And he visits the top witch hunter, Cotton Mather.
Visits him, goes to his house in Boston. It's this long conversation which we tell you about. Franklin never forgot the brutality of what the clerics did in Salem and brought it to Philadelphia.
I'm a Roman Catholic. And I believe there is an act of evil. And what we uncovered in killing the witches as far as now, I mean, I gotta tell you, when I'm reading these diaries written by the Jesuit priests worked on this boy to try to get him, you know, somewhat under control because he was bleeding and screaming and talking in languages. Nobody. And they recorded it. They recorded the Aramaic. He's a 13 year old boy in Maryland. He's speaking of Aramaic. I mean, it's so.
