But there's a little memento-mori story that I think about every time I touch or think about this book which I just reread a couple years ago and we actually sell my books to the painting porch.
The person who recommended that book to me was my friend Seth Roberts.
It's a beautiful book but I hope that memento-mori reminder sticks with you as well.

I don't believe in myself. I have evidence.
I have evidence because I've looked for it. I haven't left my attitude, my confidence up to chance. I have deliberately sought out that evidence as I carefully filter the memories from my past and as I carefully filter the way that I talk to myself.
Confidence to me is a knowledge of what one is capable of doing and that is different to me than just faith which one might take without evidence.
