On the bookshelf here at Cerro Gordo I found one of my absolute favorite books, Toto Chan, The Little Girl at the Window.
But there's a little memento-mori story that I think about every time I touch or think about this book which I just reread a couple years ago and we actually sell my books to the painting porch.
The person who recommended that book to me was my friend Seth Roberts.
It's a beautiful book but I hope that memento-mori reminder sticks with you as well.
