But then they show them Christmas morning every gift wrapped to the nines which I'm sure she had to hire people to do that and each of the six kids literally has 80 gifts each. It is so gross and I'm like, and then to show it all like I just even if listen to me people if you're listening to Juice Scoop everyone has an Instagram account show your tree and stuff but if you really are that blessed show a car if you got a car you got your wife a car like I think that's fine but the 75 gifts for each child it's like just keep it we don't need to see it.

It doesn't seem like that juicy.

It's called Endgame. It's basically, I don't know, I was seeing all these stories on it and then like put it all together and it wasn't like that.

Julie Roberts played the part. She goes to Italy. She eats a bunch of pasta, then she goes to India and is all into like yoga and praying and then she goes I forgot which the last place she goes.

But that's where she fell in love, met her second husband and then in real life because the book was about Elizabeth Gilbert the writer, was her own story in real life.

I just I would not be surprised if he has his own Eat Pray Love and the love is like I don't know. Maybe just spends like a fun summer like at Fire Island or P town or whatever.

The World Deserves My Children.

I think that you know, well, not to he said, Let's make it fun. I was gonna say parenting and environmental panic when we're well, because everyone's always like, you know, are you sure you want to have a kid the world is burning the world's on fire.

You really just need to be a lesbian for that because that is that's where it takes a village. We're like the women all help the women with the babies.

I do have a chapter in my book about how I miss Christmas. And now I'm not.

But being that it happened on the streets of LA and the way the story is told, the person does seem absolutely insane. So this is a story that's getting picked up and the book is out and it seems like a pretty juicy book.

So we're brimming with talent, but we're also brimming with frustration, you know, because your friend is the one that got that Netflix deal and she's on the thing.

You're either going to succumb to the ego of like frustration of like, this town sucks. I didn't get there, all that stuff.

I think LA is just an augmentation of reality, of materiality and of kind of like desire and ambition, you know?

So the, and I talk about this in the book actually, it's just like we need to, when we, when we have like a really good meditation practice or we start cultivating shutting up, then it's almost like those thoughts don't have a grip on us that much.

I'm going to buy Jada's book today. I'm going to the bookstore because I want to read it myself and I also want to listen to the audio because I'm hearing all the clips about Jada and Will and you're probably seeing all the clips too of the things that she has said and so I just want to get your opinion of them in general. What do you think is going on?

I don't know what's going on. I tell people all the time mind your damn business. If you mind your damn business I got other stuff going on. My husband got diabetes he passed gas at night he's short really loud. I don't give a damn about no Jada and Will. I mean I'm hoping she's doing all of this to make this book a bestseller because she is.

No, I think she is. I mean I'm buying the book too. Let me tell you. I'm buying the book and I don't even read no damn book. I'm definitely reading the book.

Just to remind you guys of what this movie was. It was, I think it was first a book and then the book was sold to be a movie. And it was this rich couple name, the, um, what were their names? The Tui family. And they had a daughter and a son. You remember the movie, they had a daughter and a son and they like lived in Texas or something, or I can't remember where, but they were Southern.

He is now coming forward and saying, um, that he signed these papers after he turned 18 and he thought they were adoption papers because in the movie they're like, you're part of the family. We want to adopt you. In fact, they, it was actually conservatorship just like Brittany, um, papers. And they said, but they said sign this cause you're over 18.

They said no, each kid in our family, Kim included got a hundred thousand. We each got a hundred thousand dollars for giving our life stories. For giving our life story to the movie that we never received any more movie. The two, we never received the two is are saying any more money from that movie either.

He didn't like the way he was portrayed. He was always playing football. He didn't like that he was portrayed like you didn't know how to read or write because he did at that time, you know, he did have a tough childhood and a broken home type of a situation, but that he didn't appreciate.

I do feel that, yeah, there was probably an element of, you know, Oh well, you know, I didn't ask to be portrayed like this, like, you know, amazing mother. I just told him my story and then they wrote it and then Hollywood knew what would make the story more compelling.

Oh good talented Mr Ripley who a great was great is I knew it was juicy, but I forgot so much about it. So rewatching it now it was like I didn't know what was gonna happen. So fun Europe.

Are you watching Fleshman's in Trouble?

I watched it right out of the book. I haven't finished it.

It's very good. It's on Hulu.

Even like that book, Are You My Mother is a weird book.

Are You My Mom? Yeah. Not everybody has a mom, which is kind of sad.

It's not sad that they don't have a mom. People have two dads, one dad, whatever.

But like to just be like, are you my mother? And the bird is like asking a tractor if it's its mother. And you're like, how dumb are you? How dumb are you bird? The tractor's not your mother.

She was so shocked that I had read her book. She's like, wow.

She's like, none of my housewives have read my book.

She grew up in Oklahoma. She came out to LA and met Russell.

Carrie now been fired from her podcast because no one's interested in podcasts anymore according to the and just like that writers but she did write a book Loved and Lost and she has to read the audio and she's like talking to this girl who's in her building who's a jewelry designer and she's like as embarrassing as it sounds I have to read my audio book she's like why couldn't you've just gotten an actress like Juliana Moore or Juliana Margulies

it's very tedious it's very long they're super strict about what you say I've talked to a couple other people in the post podcast world that have read their books and now they're like no they're like chill about it because you know if you're already established you already have a podcast like what do you care if it's like a little but I guess it kind of has to be exactly the book anyway it's a big nightmare I remember I did it like for one week every day after Chelsea lately from six to ten and it was like I just wanted to be over with

And she's the person who wrote Juno and I think Sarah was going to be in one of her movies.

I'm very excited to speak to return guest, but she's also an author, Emily Lynn Paulson. Hey hon. This is a juicy book about your life when you got sucked into an MLM and you tell it all and I'm very excited to talk to you, but I just remind people that are hardcore Juicy scoopers.

So it was the things I was looking for. Like it looked like she was making lots of money. Like that looked nice. And she was home with her kids. So were her posts like just got this new ride? Yes. Or I just went on this trip.

It was like the constant feed of, oh, my business is blessing me with this. Wouldn't you want to join this? Come join my team. All of those things that you see and hear.

So it's like the first check was like $700 and then the next one was like, you know, $1,000. But it was like, I was a stay-at-home mom. I thought that was pretty good.

So it's all about recruiting. It's about getting as many people as possible because even if you're just selling product or recruiting people, that's what's important is more people.
