A couple of years ago I read the book "It Ends With Us", and I finally made it to the theater to see the movie and I really liked the book but it tackles some serious subjects but I thought the movie was really well done and I just was so invested in the Blake Lively drama.

it's just heavy stuff it's not like domestic abuse right yeah but they have nothing to do with each other the Blake Lively stories from forever and this movie but she's doing promotion for this movie and a lot of the drama came from her and the Justin guy and it just is yeah well then her emotion she's acting like hey grab your girlfriends go out for a fun movie night like la la la and it's all about like pretty outfits and whatnot and it's like hello you're missing a big thing that this could be so impactful for women to go and watch and realize like oh maybe I need to remove myself from a situation that's not good for me

It Ends With Us, okay, if you don't wanna know but I think you should because it's based on a book, is about this woman, it's her life, about how her mom was a victim of domestic violence and then she went and met this guy and got married and had a daughter and she went back and forth with him a few times and finally was like, it ends with us, meaning it ends with myself and this daughter, goodbye, she left him and the whole thing was ending the cycle of domestic violence.

And so the controversy is, it's kind of like when Olivia Wilde was doing her movie where she directed it and had a part in it which was, don't worry about it darling. They weren't all together with the press so people are like what is the deal with this? And they believe that it's because these commercials and everything are more rom-com or romantic because the goal is to sell the tickets and they're not really sharing in the trailer what the movie is really about which is the important lesson.

And he goes but I believe when I chose to jump on this project that this could actually, having people see this movie it could actually really make a difference all around for the future of people that suffer from this.

And so he I guess is upset of the way the movie's been cut and portrayed and promoted and like I said, I had no idea that when I heard It Ends With Us and I saw Blake Lively in her dress that was originally worn by Britney Spears and there's flowers on the red carpet and I really did, I just thought it was like a really, and I was like this doesn't even look juicy from the trailer.

So there's drama, there's drama over the book, It ends with us and not just within its pages.

It's one of those like don't worry, darling situations where it's just like the director and the entire cast and creative team like cannot promote the movie together or whatever the fuck.

And I don't actually know why I've heard like rumors as to why. But it's one of those situations where it's like now bled into the public. And it's that right.

It's like half romantic comedy. And then this dude becomes like very violent and abusive. And so I don't really know how you get that across to people.

but see that this is the thing it's like the behavior effects the work so much yeah so yeah well well that's the summer that's the summer i think we will earnestly start

i don't know if it if the movie like was a success in work because of that like financially and commercially because it was like a huge fucking success right but also i guess the book is that famous because that famous but there are not there they were supposed to be at a sequel in the works and i don't think that sequel is happening anymore because of the drama
