There's a book that you must read. It's by an obituary writer named John Pope and he lives in New Orleans and every, he writes obituaries for people from New Orleans.

But more importantly, Triumph the Insult comic book.

He refers to himself as Triumph the Insult.

Yeah, based on the book, Dope Sick.

She also has a new memoir, This Will All Be Over Soon, available in stores tomorrow.

In a way that I think, it's like a way he's still going then too.

And you're a mensch as my Irish people say, and, and this is a really beautiful book.

I just rewatched Marathon Man and was just also remarking on, oh, that, okay, wait, that's what the Diamond District looked like? Yeah. Oh, wait, that's what the Upper West Side looked like? Oh, look, they're over there. They're in Central, he's in Central Park. That's what Central Park looked like in 1975, 76. It looks so different than what we're seeing now.

I read the book, What in God's Name? That the first season of the show was based on.

And I was just like, this is, it's very, I think making somebody laugh out loud from a novel or from a short story is such an incredible skill.

They also have a new York Times bestselling book, God Level Knowledge Darts, Life Lessons from the Bronx, which is available now.

Reading this book, I love it. I'll also freely admit there are moments where I'm lost. I don't know what you're talking about because I'm not as knowledgeable, let's say, about the Bronx maybe as you guys are.

They're the kind of folks who when you ask them what the process is, well, a voice came to me and the characters started telling me a story and I just wrote it down.

I read his book and there's a lot to say and he has so many funny anecdotes.

It is a very entertaining look at this gentleman's life. It's packed with good stuff.

I've been sent electric copies of other people's books ahead of time and I haven't looked at them.

Have you been reading the Mike Nichols book? Because it's really great.

Everybody says when you went out to dinner with him or you did a play with him as a director, he would just tell stories about himself and famous people.

But the more time you spent with him, you realized, oh, I think those stories were supposed to, like within that story was a piece of advice that he wanted me to take with me.

It is a spectacular book, and I want to tell everyone listening it's a very short book, but one of the most insightful books I've read about Creativity. It's really quite lovely.

I wanted to put everything into the book that you needed to know in order to become more creative.

I've been thinking about this stuff for so long, I was able to put it together quite simply, but it does correspond pretty much, does it? What the book says to your own experience coming up with funny stuff?

This book, John Cleese Creativity, A Short and Cheerful Guide is the best concise, I would say, discussion of what Creativity is, how it works and how it can be applied.

It's just about being creative.

I think I was trying to even the playing field for Latin people.

I had to make right what America the psychosocial erasure that we Latin people have experienced in this country for 500 years.

And I had to get that information out there.

And all of a sudden, Latin kids are coming up to me who are 19 and 20 because I was so angry I didn't know what to do with it but now at your show I know I can use information and books on my weapons.

And I was like yes, yes, that's got to be a good feeling. Oh my God, it's a great feeling, man. It's a great feeling.

I really do love this record, Letter to You.

I know you guys recorded it in five days.

This is really a throwback to you guys saying we're going to get this done in a shorter period of time as possible because because we're old and we may die soon.

It is and I'll give you one of my there's so many tracks I love on this record, but my ultimate test and I didn't even realize it is I've listened to this many times and today on my way to this interview, I'm on the 405 freeway and I'm listening to Burnin' Train and I look down and I realize I'm going about 110 miles an hour.

And that is my test.
