And perhaps his most controversial book is a book called The Descent of Man, which comes out in 1871, which advances the theory that Darwin had been too nervous to introduce in the origin of species that humans just like every other animal, are a product of evolution.

He's sticking up for monkeys and for apes. And I should just add that that was in the descent of man, which is the book in which he famously points out that man too is an ape.
