I stayed up all night reading that book. It was, I was, it's so rude. I was thinking it's right up there with The Secret History or The Name of the Rose or any of these kind of great books.

And if you haven't read the book about Manson, it's just an unbelievable. So Manson was clearly, you know, a federal agents too strong, but a source there's an amazing book and unfortunately, I'm 54 so I forget book titles now, but I read it last year called chaos.

I can't quite do it justice, but there's a reassessment of the Manson family written by a liberal celebrity profiler from LA who started out doing a 25th year anniversary piece.

I feel like I was the only person who had read it till my son gave it to me, but it's fascinating. But basically what it concludes with a lot of evidence is that the feds were all over that story.

We agree with you, full body taste. It does raise a lot of fascinating questions. There are some holes in Helter Skelter. Tom O'Neill is writing in good faith. He spent decades researching these links and he had a lot of falling out situations with various publishers.

I read the book. I don't know where I fall on it, but I also find it interesting that the CIA made an official response to this. They published the thing.
