The Godfather was mentioned in the context of a comparison between the strangulation method used in the book/movie and the ligature marks found on Jeffrey Epstein's neck during his autopsy. The speaker used this comparison to suggest that Epstein's death was not a suicide, but rather a murder.

"

Or the electrical cord to his neck. Or the electrical cord or whatever was there, but it doesn't look like the fabric from a bed sheet. So if it seems clear just from the photographs of his autopsy that he was strangled with, say, a cord, wouldn't you test that cord for his DNA?

So the autopsy photographs show that the ligature mark on Jeff's neck is in the middle of his neck and goes straight back, as if someone put a rope around his neck and strangled him like Carlo in The Godfather in the car.

Pagan America: The Decline of Christianity and the Dark Age to Come Cover

John Daniel Davidson

Pagan America

The Decline of Christianity and the Dark Age to Come

It explores the questions raised by the decline of Christianity in the United States and argues that the only alternative is a resurgence of paganism, not in the sense of traditional pagan gods, but in a rejection of objective truth and a rise of moral subjectivity. Davidson connects this to modern movements like the trans movement and critical race theory.

"

One thing we know about human civilizations is they're inherently religious even or maybe especially the ones that claim to be secular. Everybody worships something.

So as the United States becomes progressively and now aggressively less Christian, that doesn't mean that religion has disappeared.

In a word yes because in the end there is only one alternative to Christianity and that is paganism and we should be clear about our terms right?

What I mean is a return of the pagan ethos and the pagan ethos is and always has been a rejection of transcendent or objective truth right? Pagans were free to divinize and assign divine status to the here and now, to things, to natural phenomena even to people and we are returning to that as the world becomes re-enchanted from its sort of secular hiatus that we've been on for the past century or so.

So as Christianity recedes should it surprise us that abortion, euthanasia killing, war, human sacrifice has come to the center of our culture? Not at all.

"

I kind of buried Kramer in the book. I guess I'm not going on CNBC anytime soon for any reason.

So the solution I put in this book, which is ironic of where I came from, because I committed fraud 30 years ago, right? So as you said, I've seen both sides, right? So the solution in the book is really very simple to build a world-class portfolio and secure your future

So I wrote about a hundred pages when I was in jail and then I ripped them up. I didn't think they were good enough. I got out of jail with no pages, but I had a skill now.

I wrote about 12 pages and I'm like, wow, I think those are really good. Like I thought they were pretty good. And I hate my own writing always. Right? It's like, when you're right, you're very lucky. I always hate what you write.

And then when the book was finished, about a year later went through seven edits because I overwrote it got from 1000 pages down to 500 pages.

By the time you finish this book, you're not going to publish it and you're going to call it how to become a nobody.

I never released the book.

Just felt it was too vainglorious. Felt it was too self-celebratory.
