the much maligned book of revelation. It says that only about a thousand times. Yeah. In every book of the New Testament.

the language of Jeremiah writing about Babylon... the book of Revelation... describes a vision of the fall of Rome and Rome as the archetype of power, linking Babylon to Rome and its eventual downfall.

the book of Revelation ... absolutely understands that it's trade routes and tribute that feeds Rome, that feeds Babylon, that without these Babylon will be nothing, that it's not selfsustaining.

I don't mean to be cruel. The book of Revelation has always alluded to a great mythical serpent that is living in our oceans called the Leviathan. Now, if you check Google Maps, and trust me when I say this, off the coast of Chile, you can make out the head of a snake.

Well, there's a few things about not only the book of Revelation, but all prophecy pertaining to end times and return of Jesus to the earth. It's in Daniel, it's in 2 Thessalonians, it's in Matthew, and of course it's in Revelation and other places.

One good example of that is the Mark of the Beast, which we all have learned about very well, which says people will not be able to buy or sell without having the mark. Nobody could ever understand that, including my dad who started preaching at about 19 years old.

He said to me, now with the furtherance of technology, he said, the thought of being able to track everybody on the earth and know how they spend their money and where they spend their money and all of that, he goes, it's not even a question today. Of course, they're already doing that.

So the video and the song, when you see those two things together, the point I'm driving home there is another piece of scripture that says, in Ephesians, it says, we wrestle not with flesh and blood, but with principalities and powers and with the rulers of the darkness of this world in spiritual high places of wickedness.

And that's a really important verse because I know I'm guilty of being completely wrapped up in the Trump Biden nonsense going on all over our country, caught up in these news cycles. But when you go back to the word, it says, yeah, that's not the real fight. The real fight is what you can't see going on behind the scenes. That's the actual battle.

I would recommend that for everyone to actually sit down and read the book of revelation cover to cover, not just a verse here and there, not just the things that your pastor points out.

You can't just crack open the book of revelation and say, Oh yeah. Okay. Well, that's what this means right here. And that's what this means.

I think this has more to do with Revelation, though, than any other book of the Bible.

So over in the book of Revelation chapter 2 verse 2 through 5 there's a challenge and I'm going to try to be disciplined as I preach this one.

And yeah, there's a white horse that I read about in the book of Revelation. The book of Revelations. People put an S on it. Book of Revelations. Walmarts. Revelations.
