It's a dystopian future. It is where we will be in 50 years, maybe not even that long. If we continue to go down this road, if things don't change, there are racing history in real time.
Well, that's what this book is about is is is the truth worth looking for.
And hopefully these teens we've written it in such a way that they will be interested and want to go find out more about history, real history and courage and standing up for what you believe and what the truth actually means.
But it's a really great story. Great book to get for the young adult in your life for all of you Chasing Embers by Glenn Beck out now get yourself a copy.

I have my buddies right now reading those really manly man's history books. Like one is called the washing of the spears, which is about the bond to migration. The bond to migration is the forgotten great conquest. It's how the sort of medieval tech level black people that we think of as black took over Africa.

Just as a fellow Clancy fan, I was surprised that while talking about Trump going after the cartels, you never referenced the fantastic Tom Clancy movie, Clear and Present Danger, where the president used an executive order to send our special forces overseas to wipe out the cartels.

In this, it's not that you're in the role of expert because this is what they always try to undermine. Anyone who talks with us, you know, are you an expert? You've even seen this, I'm sure Mary Margaret will say, I can't tell if that's a boy or a girl. I'm not a biologist.
Yeah, so these are the real reported stories of detransitioners, which are people and in this book, young people who tried to do what we would say is unthinkable to change their gender.

When Medicine Gets It Wrong, and What It Means for Our Health
The book, which was released on the day of the discussion, explored systemic failures and areas where medical consensus was historically wrong, such as the demonization of natural fat or dogma surrounding hormone replacement therapy. It was reported to be the number two bestseller on Amazon shortly after its release and aimed to address root causes of chronic illness that are often ignored in modern medicine.
But the book I have doesn't really talk much about COVID because people are sick of it and it's kind of tribal.

They demonized natural fat for 60 years, igniting the refined carbohydrate added sugar addiction that led to the obesity epidemic.
And so the body does not react with an acute inflammatory response. It has a low grade response and it makes people feel sick.

It was discussed as a documentation of the crisis of liberty and constitutional rights, particularly during the 2020 period. The author explored how liberal democracies became tyrannies.
It is total and it is a state.
Feels like these days, we talk about liberty and constitutional rights and the system in charge treats that all like it's a suggestion, if not a joke. What is The Total State?
Yeah, exactly, man. Like you, I probably, yeah, I grew up listening to talk radio as kind of a standard issue, talk radio Republican. And then 2020 happened and we all got locked in our houses. We couldn't go to church. We couldn't go to work. You couldn't go outside.
The Total State, the book is really my attempt to kind of document that crisis and my faith of like the Constitution, the American system and what went on like I think a lot of people had during that time.
I do think there are steps that we can take but I think we are going through a process. I think that the things that are happening to us are actually part of a larger movement that's happening to all societies, which is the scaling up and massification.
