That again, this is like Robert Greene's books are so important here. You have to understand how power works if you want to get it into action.

Here I Stand interesting title because someone could say it's just a cliche term or one could say I should also named his album. Here I Stand. So why did you decide to name it here?

I think well Here I Stand you remember that was a time where people were really in love and you know having their first child and all kinds of stuff and the album was dedicated to me.

So Here I Stand because I you know, I've been through a lot and so it's about remaining in a beautiful state despite it all like life happens.

But anyway, so no, so Here I Stand because I you know, I've been through a lot And so it's about remaining in a beautiful state despite it all like life happens life is gonna come at you Things are gonna have you gonna lose people you're gonna lose love You're gonna have heartbreak But you have to remain in a beautiful state So things will happen you have to come back to being positive And just in a good space.

And so I was hoping, yeah Here I Stand and white bras and now I have an animated book coming out soon.

Well Here I Stand, you remember that was a time where people were really in love. And having their first child and all kinds of stuff. And the album was dedicated to me.

Here I Stand. It has a double entendre. Because I've been through a whole lot. You know what I mean? I lost a child. I lost my mom. I've been through two marriages.

But the title is called Here I Stand because the album was dedicated to you. Here I Stand because I've been through a lot and so it's about remaining in a beautiful state despite it all.

It was like a big diary. I started writing it when I first was going through a divorce. I started writing it and then I put a pause on it because I was writing it from my perspective.

Your title of your book, "Real Life, Real Love." I do think it's true that you don't know who you are until you go through something really hard.

But, you know, the producers got to send them out. Yeah, real love. Real Life, Real Love is here too.

I had a book out a few months ago, Tired of Winning, and I kind of go through, Trump does a great job of convincing everybody that he is the biggest, the most powerful, the greatest winner of all time. He's actually been a tremendous loser in politics.

He's won one election, and that was 2016, and he led the Republicans on a series of losses, and primarily, you can track the losses. Almost all the major defeats can be tracked to something Trump did.

My point in this book is it's not what he was about when he was president last time. It's how this time will be different.

So, I think immediately when they told me, it was weird. To be totally honest with you, I felt like excited. I felt excited and grateful because I had always felt like there was something going on in my family that I couldn't put my finger on, but it was like a dynamic of distance or like, I just knew that, I didn't know what I didn't know, but I knew that there was something between my parents and I.

It's such a good question. I have daughters too, right? So it's something that I think about a lot. I think that the food, it's like any other kind of addictive behavior. It's not about the drug. It's not really about the food or even really about the relationship with body. Came up from a compulsion of trying to escape the feelings I was having or numb them.

I think when we can let go of the things that keep our true selves hidden, we can let go of our shame. So I want people to know that you deserve to live in your truth and be in your truth.

So, you know, like we don't hear things about our relatives and then you start to get the lore of the family story and that's what I did.

he was these were real things, you know, that I hear from my mother and my uncles that you know, he was a businessman, you know, he was like a, you know, the the de facto mayor of the black side of town this little small town and then, you know, but at night he was a bootlegger and a gambler and a hustler and he always being creative.

I love this book. I love the process. I love telling people, you know about it.

the characters are rich is interesting.

You got the flipping box cars book out, man. And I love that you flexing different creative muscles, writing fiction novels.

The fact that yeah, I'm a family man and I'm trying to do all of this for my family, but I gotta go out there and get it by any means necessary sometimes.

And it's, it's, it's a stroke of luck, but you know, people love to play those, those angles, the numbers, the chances and they bet against themselves, against the others, they bet against the table at times.
