It's a quick read to us only like 187 pages

It's called "True Gretch," what I've learned about life, leadership, and everything in between

Yeah, you know, shallow means one of the things that I get asked the most, whether I'm traveling across Michigan or outside of Michigan, is how do I stay positive?

And so this book really is that, it is um kind of a handbook, 10 things I've learned in my life at different times in my life that I have used in situations that I've had to navigate as governor

Maybe you can get a laugh at my expense about the drinking or knocking my teeth out, I talk about that in the book, too.

And, you know, I want to give people maybe you can get a laugh at my expense about the drinking or knocking my teeth out. I talk about that in the book, too.

Maybe there's a lesson that'll give someone some inspiration when they're navigating a hard time, whether it's in the workplace or in their private life, or maybe it's just a little light reading.

I like that you kept it short and it's an easy read.

The book, written during and after a divorce, was described as a diary that later evolved into including life lessons and the author's perspective on her contributions to past relationships. It was intended to showcase her strength and resilience.

"

And so I was hoping, yeah Here I Stand and white bras and now I have an animated book coming out soon.

Well Here I Stand, you remember that was a time where people were really in love. And having their first child and all kinds of stuff. And the album was dedicated to me.

Here I Stand. It has a double entendre. Because I've been through a whole lot. You know what I mean? I lost a child. I lost my mom. I've been through two marriages.

But the title is called Here I Stand because the album was dedicated to you. Here I Stand because I've been through a lot and so it's about remaining in a beautiful state despite it all.

It was like a big diary. I started writing it when I first was going through a divorce. I started writing it and then I put a pause on it because I was writing it from my perspective.

It is a fictional novel based on stories about the author's grandfather, who was a businessman by day and a bootlegger and gambler by night. The book explores the dual lives he led and the challenges he faced in a racist America.

"

He was a businessman, you know, he was like, the, the, the fact, old mayor of the black side of town, this little small town and then, you know, but at night he was a bootlegger and a gambler and a hustler and he always being creative.

So he gets caught up in a caper, or like a crime caper where he's got to take this bootlegged liquor from a train, so that's the boxcar trains and then he does the dice with the two sixes, there's a boxcar too, so that's why he's Flipping Boxcars.

The most important thing about the book, right? The dynamic, because that is the Black struggle in a lot of ways, the fact that, yeah, I'm a family man and I'm trying to do all of this for my family, but I gotta go out there and get it by any means necessary sometimes.

I liken it to Walter Mosley, there's, you know, the Easy Rawlins characters, the Devil in the Blue Dress, I love that world and that's what we, you know, I just kind of try to emulate that feel.

It is the experiment of looking at what's your chances to actually accomplish what this goal that you that you want, right? And it's, it's, it's a stroke of luck, but you know, people love to play those, those angles, the numbers, the chances and they bet against themselves, against the others, they bet against the table at times.

"

Fashion Killer is my first book.

This is the first anthology about hip hop and high fashion, and obviously it comes out on Hip Hop 50.

So basically, Fashion Killah is obviously a nod to the A$AP Rocky song where he name checks like 27 brands, right?

If you look at, again, a lot of hip-hop books, it's like a guy with a big chain, something very sort of stereotypical, or kind of looks cheap if I'm going to be honest.

Even if you don't read one page, it's going to look good on your coffee table. It looks great in selfies.

J.D. Vance was the absolute worst pick for VP for Trump.

J.D. Vance underperformed Governor DeWine, the Republican governor there, I think by double digits.

I think that Trump, if he hadn't been shot, would not have picked J.D. Vance.

No one looks at him and thinks he's presidential.

I don't understand how you think that America's Hitler is what the country needs.

so I'm sharing some stories in this book it's a series of essays if you will and then I'm sharing some dark things about my ex-boyfriend some dark things about my existence and how I find the bright side of it

That was the hardest one because I realized like man it's hard not having a dad and then like when I met my dad it was like I was a little girl all over again and like I remember everything about him you know even though I was three years old the last time I saw him I remember how he smelled and I remember how he was like he was like he was like he was like he was like he was like I remember how he smelled I remember what he sounded like just hearing his voice my whole soul lit up like nobody sound like my daddy nobody could be my daddy

It is a collection of essays where Haddish shared some dark moments of her life and how she found positivity in them. She included material previously cut from her first book, "The Last Black Unicorn", and added reflections on her rise to fame.

"

You know, it's funny everybody's calling it I Curse You with Joy, but I call it, because at the top of the page, if you look at the front page, it say, Tiffany Haddish, I Curse You with Joy.

But you can say I Curse You with Joy. You've been saying that for a long time.

So on this next book, I Curse You with Joy, I, you know, all the stuff that I had took out the first book, I put in this book, plus more of the journey of being this, you know, shot out of a cannon star, I guess you would say.

I felt like it was more so informative for others. Like it was my way of sharing for others.

So do you get what you give chapter is all about like you know whatever you're giving out that's what's coming back in.
