The Queen's Gambit

Another book that I just love, and people have seen the series but haven't read the book, is The Queen's Gambit by Walter Tevis. It is one of the most perfect books ever written. Kind of asks the question, would if Bobby Fischer, maybe the greatest chess player of all time, was a woman? How would it have played out? And the Netflix series was just majestical.

I'm watching the Queen's Gambit. Me too. I feel like I'm watching the Queen's Gambit. And Jeopardy. And Jeopardy like who am I? Who is she?

I started queen's gambit but I'm gonna read the book today which just goes to show you it's never too late to become a redhead like even if you don't want to start the book today you can start tomorrow.

I watched Queens Gambit, obviously worshiped it.

That shit should have been an hour 40 movie. Hundo P. Someone had to say it.

I like it. I really enjoy it and I'm going to finish the season and I think it's really good. If this was like an extended movie they would have nailed it. Not even. A short movie.

It was like it was four episodes too long where at some point you're like okay you're just filling in space because I think they just make more money with it. But the aesthetics are beautiful. The acting is amazing. I love the wardrobe.

But at some point you're like we get it, you like to drink. Right. It is long. It's very drawn out. I'm only on episode four. Do sleeping pills or whatever she was taking. Tranquilizers. I didn't love that part.

I mean it was just like an interesting add on of how she could get in her head. I also wasn't the team so I was like you were on the chess team.

It's got this really cool chest pot that I've never really seen in a movie until Queens Gambit, which I thought did a nice job with it.

Walter Tevis, of course, I mean, he's been in the news quite a bit lately because he wrote the Queen's Gambit novel, which was then adapted last year.
