Viking Press, a publishing company owned by Penguin Random House, announced the biography, which is written by Robert Samuels and Toulouse OluRunepa, two prizewinning Washington Post reporters.

The book is designed to reveal how systemic racism shaped George Floyd's life and legacy, from his family's roots in the tobacco fields of North Carolina to ongoing inequality in housing, education, health care, criminal justice and policing.

They've kind of ignored the rest of his life and now finally these Washington Post reporters are going to write this work of fiction about him.

She's written a book. And the book is called Both & A Life in Many Words.

I'm reading a book now called Saving Normal by Alan Francis who's a psychiatrist and one of the guys prominently involved in the discussions and meetings that eventually led to the release of the fourth edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual or DSMIV.

Those conversations really mattered a lot to the rest of us even if we weren't privy to them because as Francis argues in his book, the DSM especially the next and most recent edition DSMV is a travesty which helped to create a situation where now any and all human emotions and behaviors can be categorized as sort of manifestations of mental illness.

I mean, one seriously wonders whether our military left copies of White Fragility and, you know, I Am Jazz at the embassy for the Taliban when they took over. I wouldn't be surprised if that was the plan.
