They were describing getting your getting beat up with a skateboard, having guns pointed at you being chased as just a tussle that everybody should expect or this idea that if you take steps to protect yourself, that you lose the right to self-defense. None of this makes any sense.

It is as Dinesh was saying, as if they took some of the media claims that were made and treated them as if they were real when they weren't.

In my new book, Rigged, I tell the story of how Mark Zuckerberg, who's one of the world's most powerful and wealthy men, funded the takeover of government election offices that are in charge of voter registration, voting and vote counting.

He spent nearly half a billion dollars giving it to two left-wing groups that gave the money to governmental election offices, predominantly in Democrat cities in key swing states.

And with those funds, they did targeted Democrat voter outreach, designing ballots, translating ballots and staffing the operations that handled ballot harvesting, the curing of ballots and the counting of ballots.

And to be clear, this is not campaign spending. This was a concierge level get out the vote operation on behalf of Joe Biden and other Democrats in key Democrat areas in swing states.

This is something that had never happened before. And this was done inside the election administration, not outside where billionaires normally spend their money.

This new book out, I covered it yesterday by Carol Enning.

But the book she wrote, Zero Fail by Washington Post reported Carol Lenning has become a really disgusting cheap shot at the incredible body of work done, which has been tarnished by a handful of bad incidents.

she calls it Zero Fail and it's kind of a shot at the Secret Service although the secret services fail rate of losing protectees is actually pretty phenomenal given what they do

i haven't read the book yet I'm hoping to get it today I will check it out

Here's a Washington Post story apparently is a new book coming out by Carol Lening about the Secret Service.

I've seen some excerpts of it. They usually overly dramatize scandals within the Secret Service and play down at times the heroism of the people they worked with.

But the Secret Service I worked in was full of really good people.
