In your latest book, you outline eight questions that people need to ask their partners.
These questions are always hard. They're always awkward. They're always weird. But you can make them fun and sexy because you're really talking about your hopes and your dreams and your goals and your life together.
Yeah, I mean, anytime I think you enter the discussion of money and love, it becomes like, oh, where do I even begin? But I think in any type of conversation regarding love, there's so many hard things you have to step into.
And so what I always say is like, when we think about money, it's just like we initially are like, what are you making? What's your net worth? What's your debt? And it's like, whoa, slow down.
I think that everybody, everybody has some form of a financial skeleton in their closet. At some capacity, there's some type of skeleton that needs to be worked on. Literally from billionaires down, we all have something.

So I wrote a book called the micro dos diet, which is a 90 day program, which is really you're using micro dosing, but you're using over tours as well. And because micro dosing lower your ego barriers, it's to your point really increases the impact of what you're doing in addition.
So there was no concern because I'm writing a book, no one can sue me because I wrote a book on auto mindfully microdose.

Nicole mentioned using a cheat sheet in one of her books called "Misinependent".
I have a cheat sheet in misinependent too asking about what your comp structure is do you take fees on different purchases and also do they sell other product do they get paid for insurance you have to remember the incentive and compensation models can drive how people think about giving you advice so asking those questions about how the advisor gets paid really really important before you sign on the dotted line with a financial advisor.

Brian Johnson, who is known for spending $2 million on medical interventions, follows a very specific diet called The Blueprint. Neil Parikh mentioned this and joked that Brian might not be the target audience for young blood transfusions.
I think it's control, what I mean by the control thing is that when so much of the world is out of your own control, I think biohacking feels like, wow, I can do something and then I see a direct input into what's happening into me or at least what I believe right. And when you're often running a company it feels like things are out of your control all the time right, the market can be changing, your employees or other things, I might be projecting a little bit here, but my hypothesis would be that it's like a very direct thing that people can do and see some output on the other side. And I think the other thing is, you know people who start companies are often experimenters, and so we're down to try crazy things on ourselves. And so there's a range of that obviously from, you know, sauna to some people injecting themselves with crazy things that come from animals that are probably not FDA approved it whatnot, but we're probably like a little bit more on the radical side than most people.
So entrepreneurs are specifically obsessed with this now. You mentioned Brian Johnson who famously spent two million bucks on medical interventions and all sorts of weird stuff like electromagnetic pulses on his penis to make it younger and all weird weird stuff.

It was discussed in the context of developing emotional skills and navigating challenging emotions in the workplace and personal life. The speaker mentioned it as being more helpful in her business than anything she'd learned on Wall Street.
honestly dr. david this has been more helpful to me in business than anything I learned on wall street anything I learned in a book the emotional regulation and the interpersonal effectiveness have by far been the things that have helped me more in my business in my career than anything else
and bringing that back from like pie in the sky I guess pun intended but to say like those two things can be true in an interpersonal relationship like I can be really pissed at you or I can feel pissed at you but also love you at the same time or like I can have a deal fall through but also feel like in a good place in my business and those opposing things can both be true at the same time and that has really really helped me effectively navigate challenges in business
it was fucking money your money and what she meant is it connected with this value of hers of autonomy and she was basically saying to me suzie you can never be in a situation where you are being mistreated in the workplace or when you're in a relationship where you depended on someone you've always always got to be able to say fuck you
