When I went back and saw the earlier ones I was like, oh, good gosh, the shame, the guilt... and then after a while I started to chuckle at those things. That's why I added this point in the book, which isn't a bad point, but it's a very selfserious point of an 18yearold boy asking some big existential questions.

We did look up the book Wicked, which is based on the alternate look at The Wizard of Oz from the position of the Wicked Witch of the West. That book actually has been removed in some schools.

This book is called Michael Jackson Was My Lover, The Secret Diary of Jordy Chandler. And in 2006, when Jackson was broke, they finally got the rights to the book. They wrote four screenplays for this movie.

The book points out that Andrew really didn't get along with many people. He loved his mother, but he didn't get along with Harry or William. All of that is documented in the book.
