And what I found was, holy moly, most of these women, almost all, but certainly most were into spiritualism, which was like a big 1800s movement of like trying to do seances and contact the dead and things like that.
The second one is occult. The term itself just means hidden. And there's a whole history here that's been completely intentionally hidden from both women and men, but specifically from women, that if they knew it, I think they'd have a whole different view of this movement.
