Reed came to understand America's relationship with ice when he wrote his first book, Bourbon Empire.

That Waffle House Vistors book, I don't know if there's any copies of it. I got it from this weird little bookstore, but I Googled it. And if you go to bittersouthern.com, apparently it has that book in it. It's just really beautiful photos that he's taken from Waffle House.

Oh wow you're going to episode of the babysitter's club it's a book series series. they were a babysitting club and they would babysit and have adventures and then they would get together and make their crafts.

And I would beg my mom for Karen books.

He's the managing editor of the Missoulian newspaper in Montana, and he's written an incredible book about America's relationship to the bear called The Grizzly in the Driveway.

Janet Lansbury, who wrote No Bad Kids. She's literally the best there is and she wrote me.

Okay, so that ad from 1979 was voiced by Orson Welles. Yeah, the guy who narrated The War of the Worlds in 1938, accidentally making many Americans think an actual alien invasion was taking place.

He spent five years writing a book about the future of meat, called Meat Planet, artificial flesh and the future of food.

And in writing that book, he spent a lot of time thinking about the humble burger.
