Slow Horses (Slough House)

My win is this wonderful show called Slow Horses which is a spy thriller based on the 2010 novel by Mick Herron.

And it's on Apple TV plus, Gary Oldham is fantastic.

It is wonderful.

Slow Horses does that qualify? That's a very excellent non-comedy show.

Slow Horses you're like Mack Heron the novels are really terrific and they and he's writing them I mean they're current Mack Heron and then the bit has been turned into an excellent TV series too.

When I'm looking for a thriller I look into Slow Horses

I've been knee deep in this Apple TV series called 'Slow Horses' um with gary oldman and some other fantastic cast members and it is about mi5 and it really speaks to this exact thing like some of this political maneuvers that these folks in charge of mi5 perpetrate in the series which i believe is based on a book series that was written by somebody with inside information about the inner workings of mi5 absolutely staggering reckless psychotic megalomaniacal behavior no no account for human life outside of just one's own political motivations and or covering one's own arse as they say for crown and country guys

I love the shout out to slow horses there too

I hadn't read a single Ian Fleming novel. I had read LeCarr. I now put Mick Herron right up there in the Pantheon alongside LeCarr. I think he's a brilliant writer. The Slow Horses books, yeah.

When you went into the service, you will have read John leCarr and presumably Ian Fleming, you know, all of that kind of - the classic things people know.
