The Fourth Turning Is Here What the Seasons of History Tell Us about How and When This Crisis Will End

There's this book that I'm obsessed with called The Fourth Turning. And it's all about how 80 years of history just keep repeating itself. And we're kind of getting at the end of the chaos era, which makes sense, right? For the past like 20 whatever years. But it's like each generation throughout the years have come forward to save like, you know, different eras from peril. And the millennials are going to be the heroes in the next, the next.

There was a book I read it. I think it came out in the early 90s. It's called The Fourth Turning and it's it has a the conceit of the book is that there are seasons in history.

So if you read Strauss Howe about generational theory, there's a book called the fourth turning. I interview these guys.

It's a book worth reading because what you'll be reading about how life is and it's like right now, and then they reveal it from 80 years ago from the New York Times.

If you read like "The Fourth Turning" and if you think that maybe we're on the verge of an economic collapse 2028, I'm very much concerned about the fork in the road that we will be at whereas a country we're going to choose, I think much like the Weimar Republic had to choose, Germans had to choose at the end of the Weimar Republic between communism and fascism as the solution.

Have you read that book the fourth turning no so there's a basically the theory is every 80 years there's basically a repeat of history right and you know and I agree with what you're saying the pendulum goes back and forth and that's you know I'm around the same age as you I'm 44 and are in my life I've seen it go back and forth right and you have to and I the thing that concerns me is that I see it going further left yeah and then further right and at the end at some point in time over the course of history that usually ends with a genocide of some sort and so that's what scares me it's like you know when we were in the covid stuff and everything was going crazy you know there was no shortage of people who were on the covid bandwagon who were calling for the removal of somebody who wasn't vaccinated from society we had just in true dough one of the world one of the leaders of the world I mean comically but he's the fucking main dude up there in Canada talking about hey we don't know what we what are we going to do with these people they're a danger to society they were building literal camps so like it concerns me when you go back and like look at the things that how they behave during that time and then like what's the result gonna be now that's yeah dude and that's like that's kind of concerning
