Truths The Future of America First

God is real. There are two genders. Fossil fuels are a requirement for human prosperity. Reverse racism is racism. An open border is not a border. Parents determine the education of their children. The nuclear family is the greatest form of governance known to mankind. Capitalism lifts us up from poverty. There are three branches of government in the United States, not four. And the U.S. Constitution is the strongest and greatest guarantor of freedom in human history.

He just published a book making some of these arguments,

One of the things that I actually exposed towards the start of this book hits this head on, which is that even if you take the CEO of NPR, for example, one of the things that she has publicly said is that in some cases our obsession with the truth may stop us from pursuing more important objectives like bringing people together.

I named the book truths for a reason.

And he's written a new book called Truths, The Future of America First, which launches on September 24th.

So I left the campaign at the start of this year. And one of the core tenets of my campaign, the slogan was truth, actually. But it caused me to reflect more deeply on, OK, what did that actually mean?

And so that's what this book is about. It goes through 10 simple, hard truths.

So the first one is God is real. And I'll go kind of go straight down the list of some of these.

that's something i hope to achieve in writing this book and it's again why i was so keen on putting it out before the election rather than afterwards so people could actually begin to really open their eyes.

I'm a fan of getting the best possible arguments for the other side on the table.

So the CEO of national public radio, who at least had something interesting to say. You could say you disagree with it or not. I do disagree with it, but at least let's just get it on the table where the argument she makes is that actually our focus, and I think she calls it our obsession over the truth or what is true can distract us from doing what is actually important, which is bringing people together is what she calls it.

I think that that's a debate then you're able to have. I respect her for saying it, even though I deeply disagree with her because at least it was in some sense an honest portrayal of what's actually going on.

The chapters are modeled on some of the things I said during my campaign. But truths like the idea that God is real, that the climate change agenda is a hoax, that reverse racism is racism, that an open border is not a border, that there are two genders, that parents should be the one determining the education of their children, that the nuclear family isn't a bad word. It's the greatest form of governance known to mankind, that there's three branches of government in the United States of America, not four, that the US Constitution is the strongest and greatest guarantor of freedom known in human history, that there's facts that are separate from conspiracies and facts are not conspiracies. Nationalism need not be a bad word.

It's what you don't know that just ain't, it's what you think you do know that just ain't so.

The book is preaching to the choir on a traditional conservative viewpoint, which of course, nothing wrong with that.

The goal of this book is to arm conservatives, but people on our side, to actually talk to their friends.

So I open a book and the first chapter is God is real.

But you're stating for a fact that God is real and you know that a large portion of population is going to say, no, he's not. There's no proof of that.

That's why I said the climate change agenda is a hoax.
