Britney Spears comes out with this memoir, 'The Woman in Me'. And I think there are actually a lot of life lessons in this thing, a lot of life lessons for people thinking about putting their child anywhere near the entertainment industry.

She reveals she lost her virginity when she was 14 years old. She was drinking with her mother starting in the eighth grade. She was having daiquiris with her mother.

Her little sister was drinking to apparently even at a younger age, white Russians, which they all thought tasted like ice cream.

She was taking Adderall like it was candy to get high later on. She wound up in taking lithium, which is a very serious drug, thanks to her conservatorship and so on.

The dad constantly telling her she wasn't good enough. The love was not unconditional that even as recently as her big tour out in Vegas, her diet was being monitored. He was always telling her she was fat.

She reveals in it apparently because the People magazine got their hands on it in Daily Mail reporting that she had an abortion when she was dating Justin Timberlake, when she found herself pregnant at just 19.

I applaud her for admitting it. It does feel like a personal detail that others would have chosen not to share. But I applaud her for revealing it because there are real risks to this sort of carefree, oh yeah, we're going to have premarital sex, and we're going to have the celebrity lifestyle. And if you find yourself pregnant and you're not yet ready to be a mother or a father, these are your choices.

I'm reading this, I'm one of those fires I saw on your Instagram story you were like oh your sister what was the deal oh my cousin's here and we were picked a song we're doing cry favorite and we got in together and you can pick a song we picked Britney because and I said you know tell me you're totally into Britney's book without telling me you're in the Britney's book because now it's like what we listen to there's this uh show on Hulu impact partnered with nightline to do this like I don't know 45 minute little tv show about the book and they interview different people Britney's not a part of it but my cast or tv show uh like an episode I don't know if impact is like a series I'm not sure I just saw it's called it's Britney and I clicked on it because everything's Britney now that I'm listening to the book what are your takeaways from the book so far and how far are you into it I think I'm like I don't know how many chapters there are but I'm on like 10 or 12 so I feel like it's it's really good I'm you just don't know you know you hear different things I don't know what the actual truth truth is because there's her side there's other people's side and obviously I'm hearing hers I have a lot of compassion for her and what she's been through and I am rooting for her to get out on the other side it's one of the things that one of the the news anchors that was part of this little documentary thing talked about he's like I've read every book that any artist or rock and roll person whatever is put out and normally by the time they write the book they're on the other side of things he's like this is the first one where I've read it and they're not on the other side yet and so it's an interesting place that she's in but she's on her way hopefully to being on the other side
