Trust (Pulitzer Prize Winner)

He revealed to the Sunday times fiance. So I guess fiance. Uh, he revealed that they were reading the same book the night they first met. We sat next to each other on a plane. Huh? Realized we were reading the same book, which is crazy. It's called trust by her ideas.

I had just finished the first chapter. I told her and she looked at me and said, I just finished the first chapter two. And I said, so we're on the same page.

Trust by Hernan Diaz which is a fabulous book the structure of which is just gorgeous and tells an awful lot about what I'd like to think of as non-fiction entertainment by way of a novel gorgeous books.

Yeah his last book was number one or a national bestseller as well Trust it just came out about a year ago I guess and all about how to build trust and how to regain trust after it's broken and those kinds of things we had him on the show talking about that but this is completely it's a departure for him and I highly recommend it.

Let's be amused for a moment that his book was called Trust and then mine was called Antitrust because of rivalry continues.

It's in this great book called the Trust which chronicles the history of the times that I was reading to prepare, they call it a distinctly American city neither northern nor southern

But did you read Francis Fukuyama's book in the 90s trust?

No, I didn't read trust.

But you heard of it, right? Maybe. Because it's like a big deal.

The idea was that it really is the bedrock of any civilization and then like the end of history will be the end of trust.
