And then you look up that like Linda Goodman sun signs and you're like, oh my God, look at how compatible we are.

Of course we know him from Michelle McNamara's book All Begun in the Dark.

I was listening again to the audio book of All Begun in the Dark by Michelle McNamara cause I can't fucking get enough of it.

It's like really kind of, it's really soothing and monotone, but the writing is so deep and you're like in it and I can imagine everything.

Well, that's a testament to how amazing that book is written.

There's no extra writing and all, but also it's not sparse. It's just the most concentrated boiled down. Here's how it happened. Here's this experience for people.

It was at a patent show I was on, she was in the dressing room and she was like, we just got this thing. I just remember it was a very brief conversation.

And they have a vintage crime scene photo book and it's fucking disgusting so I totally bought it.

While at the gift shop, I picked up a book entitled Beautiful Stranger, The Ghost of Kate Morgan and the Hotel Del Coronado.

I love it. It's good. It's very true. You don't love it. It's just like I read the book and loved it and have an idea in my head of what it looks like and what it's like and but it does seem very true to the book.

So the Meeks family murder is covered in this and then a bunch of other ones too. He's an amazing writer. You guys should look at that.

There's a book called Killer Women that every once in a while you'll look up a story and it'll just show you pages from a book. Yes. But it'll only show you a certain amount of pages. And it won't let you copy and paste them so you have to fucking retype everything.

There's a book called Killer Women, Devastating True Stories of Female Murderers by Wensley Clarkson. And so I read a couple pages of that book until they wouldn't let me read anymore.

But during it, I was like, where did I read it? I realized it was the book The Skeleton Crew.

Her case is among those included in the book Premature Burial and How It may be Prevented by William Tebb and Edward Volum.

So guys go watch The Staircase. It's like a 10 part documentary. Yeah.

Basically the entire relationship and our story, our origin story is predicated on the fact that we both talked endlessly about The Staircase at that, at Matt's Halloween party. And all of that's a lie.

I just realized I'm like trying to surprise everyone by telling them that we're doing The Staircase. But then I just realized they saw it in the description of the podcast episode when they press play probably.

And I kind of convinced myself that I had seen it, but as we're watching episode one, I was like, Oh my God, I've never fucking seen this.

I think this was way before it's time. And I think this also two years before, it seems so vintage, doesn't it?

And it would have all the haunted places, creepy places, murder sites, whatever kind of creepy of interest area. So now they're all on one website called Weird US.
