I also use Devil's Knot by Mara Leverett. That's an amazing book. It's big long lots of information. She's an investigative journalist so she has just a way of finding things that no one else can and she goes into so much detail.

Actually in the book Devil's Knot, Mara Leverett says that, quote, police records were a mess to call them disorderly would be putting it mildly.

Given the era in which this happened, it's not that surprising that just a few years earlier, The Exorcist had a pretty similar situation in which a young girl was possessed by an evil spirit who frequently used very aggressive and vulgar language, often sexually graphic language, to shock and disturb people in the film.

I read a book that I think everybody should read. It's fucking amazing about this case. I recommend it so highly. It is called On the Farm and it's by Stevie Cameron. And in that book, they talk about how the Pictons lived in an area in Coquitlam that they were kind of surrounded by people that were really well off.

According to The Boston Stranglers, which is the book I mentioned, I think last part by Susan Kelly, he had two kids with his wife, Judy and Michael.

There's a total account of this interrogation in a really great book about this case that I was using for some of the research called The Boston Stranglers. And it's by Susan Kelly, who believes there are more than one Boston Strangler.

Some of you may have gotten the hint that I left on our Instagram and our social media. I left the book by Dr. Bill Bass with a forward by Patricia Cornwell, Death's Acre.

It's about him. He's the founder, creator, brainchild behind the first Body Farm.

It's a really good read. It's actually one of my favorite books. I think I mentioned that when I mentioned that everybody should go read it, but definitely go find it Death's Acre.

Now according to that book that I told you guys to go run out and grab, Deathseeker, a Tennessee prosecutor actually suggested that they name the body farm the Bass Anthropology Research Facility.

And this group that came to protest were called Solutions to Issues of Concern of Knoxvillians. Yes, that is SICK for short. They picketed in front of the entrance to the body farm, complete with a giant huge banner across the front entrance fence of the facility that read, quote, This makes us sick.

I used a book that I got a ton of information from; it's called The Hillside Stranglers and it's by Darcy O'Brien. He does a great job going into both their lives, finding out all the background; it's fascinating and horrifying.

I really, really encourage you to read those books, the one Killing Cousins and the Hillside Strangler. By Darcy O'Brien, I'm going to link them again. They've got so many more transcripts and insight into the case.

This title is something I'm really excited to talk to you guys about because it's all about like friendship and spooky friendship.

And he said he wanted to do it from the point of view of the demoniac, I think it's called.

It's like Pen 15 met Jennifer's body.

And that's why like, you know, in the end, it's not like a religious exorcism that takes this demon out of her. It's their friendship and their bond and their love for each other.

It's like all that silly stuff. Like, you know, the power of Phil Collins compels you or whatever it is. She's like, 'I love you queerly and I love you dearly.' All of that is what takes this demon out.
