I Might Regret This Essays, Drawings, Vulnerabilities, and Other Stuff

I wrote a book a couple of years ago called, I might regret this and I was doing a book tour.

And Tom Hanks is in front of me at the, at the book event and we're like sharing like a dressing room area.

And then a typed letter to me all about my book. And like how he related to it and how much he loved it and how the book is about figuring myself out sort of late in life.

You said that in your twenties, you had dated men, but you had never really been in love. And you said you'd gotten to this point where you felt like you just weren't cut out for love.

That you were made of solid rock and that you'd be written about later in life as the woman who never fell in love.

Yeah, I really felt that way. I mean, I dated a lot of dudes and I like love dudes, but I just was like, wait, I'm not, I'm not, I don't know. Maybe I'm just not able to connect in that way at all, I guess.

the title of the book, it's called I Might Regret This, because I was very terrified of putting any of that out into the world without it being like behind Abbie Abrams.

In your book, I loved it so much. Both of us have a lot of things that we relate to you about and differently.
