I think it's critical in law school to think about, once you know the truth about what is actually moving the legal system, should you press those levers?
I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that law is somehow treated as different from any other area.
It is incredibly backwards looking.
If you've thought about, for example, a doctor, you go to the doctor with some medical condition, and the doctor is like, well, let me go get this dusty book off and see how they treated this 200 years ago. That's crazy, right?
