Ender's Game (The Ender Saga, 1)

I don't know if you've read the book or seen the movie Ender's Game. ... it's basically the, it's a science fiction novel ... the idea is that there's this guy Ender Wiggins, who is effectively controlling an entire like alien battle, ... from a bunker, where he's just there and he's giving the star fighters ... all operating autonomously in the battle space.

Um, we bonded over Ender's game and all these great sci-fi books, but then a book we were talking about the structure of scientific revolution, and which basically says that all innovation from every industry, fashion, technology, automotive comes from somebody usually outside the industry because it takes somebody from the outside who didn't grow up with the same limiting beliefs in education as someone traditional to look in and say, why aren't you guys doing it like this?

He is if you've read Inders game He's doing what Inders brother does an Inders game where he's writing his little essays for the internet Trying to like overthrow the government using them and there's a certain certain kind of guy Who is just deeply attracted to that idea

For those people who aren't familiar with Enders game, that was a novel written by Orson Scott Card a number of decades ago, where to fight an alien menace, a number of children were put into a place called the battle school. And they were out in space and trying to figure out all kinds of new strategies and methods that the adults put them in.

And it was a little creepy of a book actually. But nevertheless...

It's 100% the same thing that happened if you read Ender's Game right it's the same exact idea it's like you can't communicate with them you have no ability to negotiate they're attacking you it's over you gotta go after them and try and wipe them out and I don't understand whether like service guarantees citizenship is a bad thing
