The book was discussed, and the author joined the podcast to talk about Hollywood's hypocrisy.
Well, first of all, great to see you, Megan. And I thought that was a fantastic opening. I thought you went a little easy on George Stephanopoulos, to be honest with you.
He is completely untouched.
And the fact that- And she has to believe everyone else. The implication, of course, Andrew, is that she must believe E. Jean Carroll.
That's OK, that you're not anti-holding rapists accountable if you don't happen to believe her. It's the left that tells us we have to believe all women.
And I just think the way that Trump is being treated has elevated him in ways that the left must not have foreseen or they wouldn't have done it.

It was discussed as one of the best books the author had written, detailing a former killer's attempt to become good in a corrupt society, exploring themes of forgiveness and the search for truth and love.
I'm really I think it's one of the best books I ever wrote.
Basically, you know, in the 2000s, I started watching all what was called the second golden age of TV. And I noticed that all it was were antiheroes, the Sopranos, Breaking Bad, The Shield, one bad guy after another.
And the funny thing was, I'd been writing characters like that for 10 years all through the 90s. I wrote a character in True Crime was just like that. It was played by Clint Eastwood in the movies.
And so the Cameron Wynton series is about a guy who's been a killer. He's been a bad guy. And he's now trying to find a way back to being a good guy. And he's doing it in a society that's falling apart.
And the House of Love and Death is about a family that's wiped out. And he goes to investigate this and he finds an entire community that has become corrupt. It's corrupt not only within itself, it's corrupt from the top down things that the president is doing are corrupting the society around it.
