I'm not I'm not gonna read the book I saw the excerpts whatever but uh but I do think it's important that we don't act like every word in that book is wrong um because Donald Trump is president everything went wrong a cascade of failures across the board we may not recover but if we do it'll be because we learned some things

I read enough of the book about the Hillary Clinton campaign in 2016 by the name of Shattered to know that they were relying less on polling and more on analytics.

And they were getting all sorts of very positive indications that based on what had happened in past elections, they didn't need to spend much time in Wisconsin and Michigan and Pennsylvania.
