When I first heard about your book and I started going over the details of it and the subject matter, I was shocked.

What has been the response to your - first of all, you're releasing your first book... It has been kind of surprising how much interest there is and how much people are taking this up.

She's author of Countdown, how our modern world is threatening sperm counts, altering male and female reproductive development and imperiling the future of the human race.

And it's not just reproductive function in and of itself. It's you know, has impacts for the health of that person. And by the way, a man or a woman who are less fertile will on average die earlier.

And by the way, the only chemical that has a syndrome named after it is phthalates. You don't talk about the pesticide syndrome or the, you know, dioxin syndrome. We talk about the phthalate syndrome.

The book again is called countdown. How our modern world is threatening sperm counts, altering male and female reproductive development and imperiling the future of the human race.
