I'm reading Dan Schreiber's book, right? Yeah. And in it he talks about there's a Zen concept of the rough corner, right? So in every Zen garden, there will be one corner that you leave completely to the elements and it acts as a balance for the neatness of everything else. How interesting. So maybe.
But go and read Dan's book. It's great. It's called The Theory of Everything Else.
