One of Us Is Lying (TV Series Tie-In Edition)

One of my favorite books that I read when I was when I was writing my book is this book called One of Us. And it's about the Norwegian mass shooter who shot all of those children at a summer camp, who was someone who was afflicted with terrible luck from the time he was a child.

There is a documentary out on this case that was quite insightful.

There is a town of articles and written deep dives but probably the most invaluable source for today's episode is a book on this case titled One of Us, the story of Anders Breivik, written by Asni Sarastad.

She is this incredibly talented investigative journalist that has won numerous awards for her focus on young women's stories typically and typically in war-torn countries.

She poured through the court documents, worked directly with the survivors' victims' families, and she was dedicated to unpacking every single layer of this really twisted, really sick story.

The book is incredibly well written and by well written I mean just like gut-wrenchingly painful to get through because of how emotional it gets and how raw it is.

Please check out the book. I think the book, the author works with a lot of the victims' families and it was just an incredibly tough read to get through but I think it is very insightful.
