In COVID, when I started writing The Coming Wave, my book, I was really motivated by that question. That was actually one of the core questions is how does technology arrive in our world and why? What are the incentives, the system level incentives that default to proliferation, that just produce more and more?
Thank you for writing the book. I'll recommend everybody read it like as long as they can.
