I read this part of your book and I was like, oh my God, that would be so hard as a kid.
You had gotten a bike with like training wheels and you're like super stoked about it. And it was pink with like streamers and I just got sending one of those.
But your dad was like, okay, you need to give that to your younger sister.
And he just like told me that moment. He was like, Maddie, I'm so proud of you because you traded in good enough for something better. But you didn't even know the better was there.
