Don't wait to think this is just the story of a poker player. She was an Olympic skier one of the best in the world and injury changes the trajectory of her life. She makes a lot of mistakes. Does some illegal things gets addicted to drugs? Doesn't recognize the person that she's become something I related to as my sort of ambitious early 20s.

But then, you know, facing a very lengthy prison sentence gets sober turns her life around comes to actually I think become a very fascinating ethical and moral person as the book explores and the movie explores and as we explore in today's interview.

a brilliant memoir. I really enjoyed it and then towards the end it comes to a moment of truth. Crossroads-esque moment where she has to decide what kind of person she's going to be. What does she actually value? Who does she want to be?
