Definitely well we just had a chance to read your book Give Them Lala which wherein you do give us a lot of Lala and a lot of Lauren and I felt like the book was so heartwarming first of all so congratulations on writing a really wonderful memoir.

I finished Lala's book which was really good. Yeah it was a really fun read. I haven't read a light book in so long so it was like a really easy quick read and it was just nice to just breeze through a book and not have to like you know spend hours on it. So that was really fun called Give Them Lala by Lala Kent.

You met Lala Kent on Vanderpump Rules. Now Lala and her friends share everything on Give Them Lala.

It's a great read and I'm not just saying that. It was an easy read. I read it in two days. Shocker. It was an easy read that I wrote. But that's what I like. That's what I want.

I don't know that I would write a book again.

Just because so much had happened in my life and I felt like I had learned so much about just the system, about myself.

But my last book left kind of a bad taste in my mouth. Just reading who the book was dedicated to and just these sections of my life. Let's read between the lines where I'm like, this was a lie. And I didn't even realize. I was living in fiction.

I think it's going to be fascinating when you write another book.

And I was like, how is she doing this? I think it will be fascinating when you write another book.

you wrote about your sobriety like why you got sober in your book.

I do feel like you talk about it a lot and mention it a lot.

The paperback came out people are really digging it

I do love seeing them yeah and I love people telling me like what they think but if you're if your feedback is not positive I don't need to see it it's not constructive

And this one I'm super excited about because it has the stamp on it of national bestseller, a gorgeous red stamp, national bestseller, and also paperback smells better.

When people say I loved it, I couldn't put it down. It was such an easy read.

No, but it's it's also I'm so sorry, you guys. I'm going to kiss Lala's ass again. It was also just a I read it. I got hired with Lala. And then that next weekend I was going to start. And so I bought the book, read it. And it was a very good read.

I actually talk about this in my book.

When I read it in your book, no lie, I pictured you. I pictured this window getting smashed out and then you just gracefully like stepping through the part that you smashed.

I love even more that me being honest about my journey in life so far has been inspiring to people. That was the whole goal of the book.

I think becoming a national bestseller was just like the cherry on top.

I think it is very important that I write another book and spoiler alert, I've already started. So yes, there will be another book coming.

I feel like I've lived a hundred lifetimes since I wrote that book and I became a mother and anyone who is a mom knows the second you find out that you're pregnant and you feel that first kick and just all of those monumental moments during pregnancy to having them, you become a different human being and your goal in life and what you want to see in the world changes.

I just, there's something that's that's tugging on me to, to share a little bit deeper when something like what I've been through happens and your blinders are taken off and you're, you're open to this brand new world and you know, the independence and just being a woman, you know, I'm not, I'm not the 26 year old girl that I was or 20, 23, 24. When I was on Vanderbilt rules, like I'm a grown woman and you change.

I wrote about you in my book.

Oh, you did? I'm so sorry. You don't read it. Please don't read the book. Just know you're in there and I'm forever grateful.

You're like, I feel like I've lived a thousand lifetimes since that book came out.

And I'm like, this feels like I don't recognize the person that I'm writing about.

I was digging into stories from the time I was like a child to when my dad died through my drinking and what led me to get sober.

Tonight I'm finally getting to do the signing of My book give them Lala which is huge

The reason I chose to put things like that in the book are because, you know, I was really struggling with addiction.

it was important for me to show the behavior that I would display and things that I would do when I was drinking.

these are the things that I'm mortified about that I would do when I would drink.

it was a dark time, you know, it was a dark time and, you know, life's not always what it's supposed to be, you know, you know, I, I mean, people don't know all the details, but you, uh, you know, you struggle with addiction and then your father passed away and then, you know, dark.

This, this was a real life sickness that I'm still battling every day. It will never be cured. And it's important for me to be a sober human being because I pulled some stupid shit.

My mom has not read my book, doesn't listen to my podcast and has never seen an episode of Vanderpump Rules still to this day.

I read your first one. I write it in two days. I keep it next to my nightstand. Just in case I ever need any wisdom, I can go back to certain pages I have marked down.

Can I tell you something crazy? Today is the day that I'll find out if it's a New York Times bestseller.

The book is a book of stories. So originally when I wrote it, I sent it in to Simon & Schuster. They wanted to put on the book a memoir. Or not they wanted to. They originally put that on the cover. And I was like, I feel like you can't be 30 years old and write a memoir. There are people that have. I just didn't feel comfortable with it. It's more of a book of stories that are either funny, life-defining, life-changing.
