The book is a kind of guide for young truth seekers. It showcases trailblazers throughout history from Frederick Douglass and Ida B. Wells to Malala Yousafzai and John Lewis. And it's illustrated by Sue Cornelison, who brings them to life on every page.

I'm donating all my proceeds from the book to the New York Legal Assistance Group, a leading civil legal services organization that advocates for people experiencing poverty or who are in crisis.
