I've been reading your book, your new book, Bibi: My Story. It weaves an interesting personal tale, familial tale and political cultural tale altogether.

In his newest book, Bibi: My Story, the newly reelected Prime Minister tells the story of his family, his people, his path to leadership and his unceasing commitment to defending his country and securing its future.

...and I discuss it and consider we're lengthened my book because people are so ignorant of history...

...and I labor not only in the present book my own history, Bibi: My Story, but in a previous book, a place among the nations, to debunk...

To give you an idea of what the Sayeret Matkal, the kind of operations these guys were picked for, I want to read one passage from Anshel Pfeiffer's Bibi, which is about the 1973 Arab-Israeli War, about a contingency mission that the Sayeret Matkal were marked out for.

Quote, a Matkal team was to be flown deep into Sinai, where it would lay an object at the top of a remote mountain.

The object, a small nuclear device, would be detonated as a warning to the Egyptians in the event that they used chemical or biological weapons, bombarded Israeli cities, or simply seemed to be winning the war.

prior to this, very few Jews had fully realized how their growing presence impacted the local Arabs.

August 1929 drove home the reality that two nations were competing for the same piece of land.

The realization that the Arabs were going to fight and that the British, despite Lord Balfour's grand promises, weren't going to automatically fulfill the Balfour Declaration tore the Zionist movement apart once again.

The episode left Ben Zion convinced that there was nothing the left wing would not do to cast the revisionists out of the Zionist camp.

The first condition for our total victory is a combination of three factors, propaganda, propaganda and propaganda.

Wait a minute, you have to do something. Open that book. Yes. Put your thumb, put your finger on Israel so they get a feeling for the Arab world. This is Israel, right? Yes, exactly. And don't even begin to encompass the Arab world or Iran in this, in these two flaps.

when we began the economic revolution towards free markets away from socialism, we were basically the last place in Western Europe and now we're pretty much in first place. And we're going to catch up with the United States.

And I devoted my life, as I describe in my book, to empower Israel, not to subjugate others, but to defend itself from others and to make sure that nobody could destroy the one and only Jewish state once it was reconstituted after thousands of years.
