deserve how can we help i really need your advice um to give you a little background i have a full-time job and i take care of a sibling that has mental disabilities now last year i started my llc because i wanted to supplement my income while working at home now so far i spent close to ten thousand dollars on my llc and i haven't made any money yet i put off creating my website because i had to save four thousand dollars to have it created because i'm not tech savvy you don't need four thousand dollars to create a website you can use wix and do it for free i mean there's no need to go spend all this money on this business that has no revenue so far but continue okay um now because i am i am very bad with budgeting money as you probably already know but now the icing on the cake is i have a medical condition that's going to need long-term care so when i reached out to different insurance companies the underwriters they don't want to touch it so my question is should i continue to pursue my small business or take that money and put it in a banking account for my long-term care that i know i'm going to eventually need okay uh how long from now do you think you're going to be needing long-term care um the doctors are unsure because they don't know why i have my condition 25 years or 25 months oh i'm sorry what happened 25 years or 25 months um it could be five five years okay all right so you got a little some time this is not imminent then okay um well i i think the answer is if the LLC is making money it's going to make you more money than bank account will make but so far it's not done anything but take money so we've got to get it making money or we can't depend on it right right what is it what is your side gig what are you trying to build here voiceover voice over yes okay all right and you've done that kind of work before oh no um i've always wanted to do something with my voice but never knew how to go about doing it and the last you took a took a class in the in the summertime and really enjoyed it loved it what did you spend the ten thousand dollars on oh the actual course which is like six thousand dollars where they train you and then um creating my actual LLC i had a company do it for me because they walk walk me through it step by step and then turning my bedroom into the actual studio i had to soundproof it and do you have the equipment to do the work now yes yes i do and why do you not have customers did they teach you how to get customers well i have to do the website first you have to have a website to get customers yes because i have to put the demos on the website to um send it to the client so they can hear me on the website well you could send that over email if you knew the people to contact just send them an mp3 yeah oh right now you need to know the right people i don't think the website is the thing holding you back yeah okay i need you to go get a whole bunch of customers and george is right you can put up a real basic website for almost nothing or nothing okay and you're after talking to you for a few minutes you're smart enough to do it well what's the name of the site you would recommend george again wix wix is a popular one i've used one called square space again all of these you know you're talking zero to a hundred dollars not four grand and truly you can do it yourself yeah i could teach my mom how to use wix wix and we're not endorsing either one of those it's giving you some ideas that this is it's a lot of cut and pace because you're not really trying to create a complicated piece of programming here you're making a business card you just need an electronic business card where you've got some of your demos up there or somebody can push play and play an audio file that's all we're looking for and then of course you're gonna you're gonna deliver most of your stuff by email yes okay so you can deliver demos by email if you got demos laid down in your computer yes okay yes all right so what what i need you to do is i need you go find like a whole bunch of customers in the next 30 days ready set go okay i want you to be overwhelmed because you have so much work you can't breathe and you're a little bit you're a little bit frazzled because there's too much coming at you i want you to get that many customers got you because that's the weak spot in what you're talking about so far all you've done is pay other people for this dream yeah now it's time for you to get paid for the stream and go find people who are doing it and maybe they pass off the ones they don't have time for yeah you get your start that way okay but what do you do full time i'm a correction officer okay how much do you make doing that um my take on is 4,300 a month okay good well the the the voice world has dramatically changed like everything else with a microphone um in the last 20 years because of the digital space that we're in and so i mean it used to be that you had to be a proven product to be able to sit in front of a microphone and now if you want to be a podcaster you can be by the end of the day you know now ai can do voice over yeah and so you gotta compete with that and it used to be that we would mail the the sounders for the radio station to the voice guy and he would send the tape through the mail and we would load the tape we're a long way from that this is a very easy business to get into now and i want you to go get into it big time in the next 30 days ready set go that puts us out of the ramsey show in the books

Rachel Cruz has next week a new book coming out her second children's book which was a best seller it was called I'm Glad for what I have about contentment this one's called I'm glad for where I am home is where the heart is fabulously illustrated by Lauren Gallagos Lauren is an absolute world class at this and uh these kiddos pictures are fabulous this one the other one's about contentment this one is all about gratitude but the uh stunning just beautiful beautiful illustrations and uh already been reading it to the grand kiddos and um the smallest one is Papa Dave Papa Dave read Papa Dave and I always want to read to the kids because when your kids that are read to they're always turn out bright they always come ahead they're always ahead in everything read read read read read read read read in a culture that doesn't know how to read and in a culture that doesn't know how to comprehend you give them huge advantage when you do that so whether it's Rachel's books or any or the junior series or anything else you like out there it's great I've gotten Dr. Seuss yeah Dr. Seuss I had I'd put it down for about 25 or 30 years and I picked it back up now again Wednesday another generation in and here we go yeah my kids yeah um I do not want green eggs and hams I'm just saying there we go

April the 16th the day after dreaded tax day Rachel Cruz is coming out with her second children's book her first one was I'm glad for what I have about contentment this one is I'm glad for where I am great bedtime stories and this is about gratitude because we have found that as you teach children gratitude and contentment those are the antidotes to entitlement go figure humility's coming next get ready but yeah I don't know if it is or not but probably and so I'll kind of all falls in the same bucket right children that know how to say please and thank you and don't think that they are the center of the universe they don't think the access of the world runs to the top of their sweet little heads these are children that become prosperous adults and because everybody wants to be around them as opposed to the guy or gal who at a party is a taker rather than a giver and so glad for where I am the latest in the series by Rachel Cruz comes out

Rachel launched a number one best-selling Children's book in the fall. I'm glad for what I have. The follow-up book she's gonna do a series of these apparently now. I'm learning this but um there you go Is I'm glad for where I am. You'll be content with home and the other ones content with what you have the only this one's about gratitude. The other ones about contentment and Fabulous illustrations award-winning Uh illustrator just really great. I read these to my grandkids this weekend. I had different ones at different times for Easter and uh the oldest ones Of course don't let me read to them, but the little one just pop a day. Give me a buck.

It's been so fun. It was a fun process and hopefully that message of content meant yes can be all through our households with us little kids.

We finally have a book that's at my reading level coming out of this company and I'm excited for it. It's a children's book.

It's beautiful. I can't wait to buy them for all my family. It's amazing. It's a great all about contentment and great for this holiday season that we're about to embark in.

it's just a great book to remind kids and adults the reader that stuff is not bad but it doesn't fulfill you the way you think it does

you talk about what I think is the antidote for envy the antidote for all of this is gratitude and grateful what you got.

So my wife is a children's literature aficionado right and her I don't fully understand how smart she is, but I know that she taught teachers how to teach kids how to read. She's like a literacy person and she's a huge proponent of children's literature and how pictures are reading and yes, turning the pages is actually technology and it's a it's a it's a path for kids neural connections to begin to do to develop right so you can read a book like this and you can read a book like this when you're a young and there's some really clear scientific literature that says you want to set your kids apart over an arc of their life read to them when they're young.

the kids book I was excited about it because I have yep four six and eight year old at home and yeah like bedtime stories it's a thing and I always love the books that have like a message at the end that I'm like as a parent I'm like oh that was so good to hear.

I wanted it to be short. I wanted it to rhyme. I wanted to have animals.

So I wanted a book just to walk them through the story of like hey you want new toys you want all of this stuff and it's not right or wrong right there's not like a moral compass to this stuff but at the end of the day can we understand that the stuff is not the thing that's gonna fulfill us and so that was yeah that was the message I wanted to put in.
