It's actually a book with art and commentary by John and his wife, Jeannie. The art is by Jorge Coco Santangelo, just this beautiful art book. The book is called The Parables of Jesus Revealing the Plan of Salvation.

There is a book called Charting the New Testament. And it's a long book. It has several hundred charts in it about all kinds of subjects dealing with the New Testament. It's available for free on the Book of Mormon Central Archive.

If you just go to that website and go to research and click on archive and put in Charting the New Testament, it comes up as a PDF.

But I think you can't just start there. There's a lot more going on and has been going on that, I think especially for Latter-day Saints, we can understand that this principle that it's better that one should die than the whole nation dwindle in unbelief.

when Raymond E. Brown writes his two volume history of the trial of Jesus, he starts at the Last Supper.

And John Taylor also reports that they read something, we don't know what it is, out of Josephus.

But I think you said over 100 times in the Gospel of John, you said, John also features Christ referring to the Father more than 100 times.

But I always like to bring in this verse. Hey, Christ is there before, during and after any effort we can make. Because without him, how much can we do? We can do nothing. And I love that it uses that all we can do type that that phrase is right there.

They said, some readers have wondered how anyone could be expected to have the proper clothing under these circumstances. After all, weren't the wedding guests pulled in off the streets?

The answer is that it was the custom for a wealthy host to provide the appropriate wedding garments for his guests. The man who had not on a wedding garment did not lack for one, but willfully refused to put it on.

Pride gets no pleasure out of having something, only out of having more of it than the next man. It is the comparison that makes you proud. The pleasure of being above the rest. Once the element of competition has gone, pride has gone.

This young man said, what shall I do? That I may inherit eternal life. And Jesus did not say, oh, just confess me as your personal Lord and Savior and you're pretty much done.

He gave him a, sounds to me like works righteousness right there.

But Jesus could have said that. Oh, just say, I accept you as Lord and make you a Savior and make you Lord of my life and you're done, you're saved.

He has a book called Starved Stuff, Feeding the Seven Basic Needs of Healthy Relationships. And it's fantastic, John. It's a really good book for those searching for better relationship skills, and that can be found on his website.

There's a great quote by Parley P. Pratt in The Key to Science of Theology, where he says, after God's spirit children were born, so up in the premortal world before we were born, they were matured in heavenly mansions, trained in the school of love in the family circle, and amidst the most tender embraces of parental and eternal affection.

I was invited once to write an article for a book called His Majesty and Mission.

I was working with the incredible Eva Timothy, who was doing the art for this book. And Lisa was doing some of the writing too. I think it's on the third page, Lisa. This book is dedicated to my assistant Lisa Spice. I would never have seen the light of day without you.

In the middle of writing this book, I went through some really difficult times. It was right during the pandemic. My brother passed away from COVID in December. And then my father passed away just 90 days later. And I found myself unable to write. I was dealing with a lot of things as you do when loved ones pass away.

And I wasn't going to reach the deadline. So I called on my friends, John, by the way, Al Carraway, Jody Moore, and Anthony Sweat. And they came to the rescue and helped me finish the chapters in this book.

And we got it out on time. And you can see the great art by Eva Timothy. So to both of you, I don't know if I've ever said thank you from the bottom of my heart for saving me on this project.

Also, he's been very helpful in my family, my kids that have gone to the temple. I got this form, the Holy Invitation and recently he just wrote a follow-up called The Holy Covenants.
